Ingredients

  • White coffee filters
  • Liquid food coloring or dye
  • Small cups or containers for mixing colors
  • Water
  • A spray bottle
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Small sponge or soft brush (optional)
  • Newspaper or paper towels

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing your workspace. Lay down newspaper to catch any spills.
  2. Take several coffee filters and stack them, pinching them in the center to form a flower shape.
  3. In small cups, mix a few drops of food coloring with water, adjusting the color intensity.
  4. Using a brush or sponge, gently apply the dye to the edges of the filters.
  5. If preferred, use a spray bottle filled with water to mist the filters lightly after dyeing.
  6. Leave the dyed filters to dry flat on a clean surface.
  7. Once dry, take a pipe cleaner and twist it around the center of the filters.
  8. Consider creating a bouquet by repeating the process with different colors.

Notes

Store flowers in a cool, dry place and gently wipe dust off with a soft cloth.
