Create beautiful Tie-Dye Coffee Filter Flowers that bring joy and serenity through a calming crafting experience.

Ingredients

  • Coffee filters (white or natural)
  • Food coloring or liquid watercolors
  • Small cups or bowls for dye
  • Spray bottle (optional)
  • Plastic gloves (to keep your hands clean)
  • Paper towels for drying
  • Scissors
  • Pipe cleaners or floral wire for stems
  • A tray or table cover to protect your workspace

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Lay down a protective cover over your workspace.
  2. Mix Your Dyes: In small cups, prepare your dyes by mixing food coloring or watercolors with water.
  3. Fold the Filters: Take a coffee filter and lay it flat. Fold it in half, then in quarters, creating a smaller circle.
  4. Dye the Filters: Using a dropper, spoon, or spray bottle, apply the dye to the folded filters.
  5. Dry the Filters: Once dyed, lay the filters flat on paper towels to dry.
  6. Assemble Your Flowers: Once dried, unfold the filters gently and stack them, using a pipe cleaner to twist around the center.

Notes

Enjoy your flowers in vases, as décor, or give them as gifts. Store in a dry, dark place to preserve colors.
