Ingredients

  • Clear acrylic sheets or plastic from clear containers
  • Colored tissue paper or cellophane
  • Blunt-tipped scissors
  • Craft glue or double-sided tape
  • Markers (optional)
  • Hole punch (optional)
  • String or wire for hanging

Instructions

  1. Select your base material and cut it into desired shapes.
  2. Take colored tissue paper or cellophane and cut it into small pieces.
  3. Lay out your cut shapes on the clear base until it feels right.
  4. Attach the paper pieces with craft glue.
  5. Draw designs with markers for enhancement (optional).
  6. Punch a hole at the top for hanging if desired.
  7. Thread string or wire through the hole to display your suncatcher.
