A simple and fun recipe for making soft and stretchy slime that promotes mindfulness and creativity.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white school glue (non-toxic)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda (optional for consistency)
  • Food coloring (optional, for a touch of delight)
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (contains boric acid)
  • A mixing bowl
  • A spoon or spatula for stirring

Instructions

  1. Add one cup of white school glue to a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour in one cup of water and stir gently to combine.
  3. If desired, add one teaspoon of baking soda for a softer texture and stir again.
  4. Add food coloring and mix until color is well combined.
  5. Gradually stir in one tablespoon of contact lens solution; slime will start to form.
  6. Use your hands to knead the mixture until it transforms from gooey to stretchy.
  7. Shape the slime into a smooth ball and enjoy!

Notes

Store slime in an airtight container or zip-top bag to maintain freshness. If it feels dry, knead a few drops of water back into it.
