Instructions

  1. Choose your clear container and place it on the tray to catch the excitement.
  2. Pour about 1-2 cups of table salt into the container.
  3. Sprinkle in about 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
  4. Add a few drops of food coloring if desired.
  5. Carefully pour vinegar into your container.

Notes

The salt volcano can last for multiple days. Store the mixture in a sealed container away from moisture. To reuse, mix remaining salt and baking soda, then add fresh vinegar.
