Ingredients

- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- A small saucepan
- Wax paper or parchment paper
- Fresh flowers (or dried)
- Rolling pin
- Cookie cutters (optional)
- An airtight container for storage
Instructions
- Begin by pouring 1 cup of cornstarch into the saucepan and adding 1 cup of water. Stir gently until it combines into a smooth mixture.
- Place the saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until it thickens into a dough-like consistency (around 5 minutes).
- Once thickened, remove it from the heat and let cool slightly.
- Transfer the warm dough onto a clean work surface lined with wax paper.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of around 1/4 inch.
- Cut out shapes using cookie cutters, making a variety of sizes.
- Press your chosen flowers into each cut-out shape.
- Peel them from the wax paper and let dry on a clean surface for at least 24 hours.
- Once dry, use strings or hooks to hang your pressed flower charms.
Notes
For a personal touch, consider using different types of flowers and add natural dyes for color.
