  • 1 empty plastic bottle (preferably a 2-liter soda bottle)
  • Scissors (safety scissors recommended)
  • String or fishing line (to hang your spinner)
  • Permanent markers or paint (in calming ocean colors)
  • Glitter or beads (optional for added sparkle)
  • A small piece of cardboard (for the base)
  • Lightweight, decorative paper (like tissue paper)
  • Tape or glue

Instructions

  1. Begin by thoroughly rinsing the empty plastic bottle and removing any labels.
  2. Using scissors, carefully cut the top part off the bottle at around the halfway point.
  3. Create small holes along the circumference of the bottle’s edge.
  4. Decorate the outside of the bottle with permanent markers or paint.
  5. For a whimsical touch, add glitter or beads inside the bottle if desired.
  6. Attach the cardboard base to the bottom of the bottle securely with tape or glue.
  7. Puncture a small hole at the top of the bottle and thread your string or fishing line through.
