Create beautiful heart-shaped crystals using baking soda and water in a simple and mindful DIY project.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar (optional)
  • A heart-shaped mold (silicone recommended)
  • A mixing bowl
  • A stirring tool (spoon or spatula)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • A tray for drying

Instructions

  1. Pour the baking soda into your mixing bowl.
  2. Gradually add water and stir until you achieve a wet sand consistency.
  3. If using, drizzle in vinegar to create a fizzy reaction.
  4. Add food coloring if desired and mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the heart mold, pressing down gently.
  6. Allow the mixture to dry in a cool place for 24 hours.
  7. Once dried, gently remove the heart from the mold.
