Ingredients

  • 1 glass jar with a lid
  • Glow-in-the-dark paint (optional)
  • Blue and green food coloring
  • Water
  • Sand or small pebbles
  • Decorative seashells or small ocean-themed items (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the glass jar and allow it to dry fully.
  2. Pour a layer of sand or small pebbles into the bottom of the jar.
  3. Add several drops of blue and green food coloring to a cup of water, mixing gently.
  4. Carefully pour the colored water into the jar.
  5. If using glow-in-the-dark paint, apply it to the interior surfaces of the jar.
  6. Layer decorative seashells or tiny ocean-themed treasures into the jar.
  7. Seal the jar with the lid and place it in light for a few hours.
