Ingredients

  • Fresh flowers (edible or non-toxic varieties)
  • Water (preferably distilled)
  • A shallow bowl or mold (Silicone molds work well)
  • Optional: twine or fishing line for hanging
  • Optional: leaves, berries, or other natural elements for variety

Instructions

  1. Select your flowers. Choose vibrant ones like pansies or nasturtiums.
  2. Prepare your bowl or mold, ensuring it is clean. If hanging, place twine or fishing line at the bottom.
  3. Gently place the flowers into the mold, arranging them as desired.
  4. Slowly pour water over the flowers until adequately submerged.
  5. Place the mold in the freezer and allow it to freeze completely.
  6. Once frozen, remove the mold from the freezer and let the suncatcher sit at room temperature for a moment.
  7. Find a sunny spot outside to hang your suncatcher and enjoy the light shining through.
