A delightful DIY project to make colorful fizzy rocks that entertain and educate children through interactive experiences.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups baking soda
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Food coloring or natural dyes
  • Muffin tin or silicone molds
  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring spoons and cups
  • Optional: Small plastic toys or gems for hidden treasures

Instructions

  1. Mix together two cups of baking soda and half a cup of water in a bowl.
  2. Add food coloring or natural dyes slowly, stirring until the desired color appears.
  3. Position small treasures like toys or gems at the bottom of each mold if desired.
  4. Pack the colored baking soda mixture into your muffin tin or silicone molds.
  5. Allow the molds to dry for at least 24 hours.
  6. Pop out the Fizzy Treasure Rocks when fully dry.
  7. Drop them into a bowl of vinegar to watch the fizzing reaction.

Notes

Experiment with different natural dyes or essential oils. Store the rocks in a cool, dry place to maintain vibrancy.
