Ingredients
Bioplastic
Colorful liquid glue or food coloring
Wax paper or silicone mat
Cookie cutters or molds (optional)
Scissors
A small bowl of warm water
A sunny spot or window for display
Instructions
Start by cutting snippets of bioplastic, roughly the size of a small cookie. Place these pieces in a small bowl of warm water for a few minutes until soft.
Once pliable, remove the bioplastic and place it on a sheet of wax paper or a silicone mat, feeling the warmth as you press it down.
Use your fingers or cookie cutters to shape the bioplastic into your desired form.
If you wish to add colors, drizzle or sprinkle colorful liquid glue or food coloring over the bioplastic.
Let your suncatchers cool and set for about an hour.
Once set, gently peel the suncatchers off the wax paper or mat.
Finally, hang your suncatchers near a sunny window.
Notes
Customize your suncatchers by experimenting with layering colors, adding embellishments, or using different shapes.
