Create a beautiful heart-shaped crystal formation using baking soda, water, and vinegar in this soothing DIY project.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of white vinegar
  • A mixing bowl
  • A heart-shaped mold (silicone recommended)
  • Spoon for stirring
  • A tray to catch spills

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda and vinegar, observing the gentle fizz.
  2. Carefully add water to the mixture and stir until you achieve a thick paste.
  3. Scoop the mixture into the heart-shaped mold, enjoying the process.
  4. Place the mold on a tray to catch any drips.
  5. Set the mold in a warm spot for 24 hours to allow crystals to form.
  6. After 24 hours, gently remove the heart from the mold.
  7. Allow the crystal heart to dry for another 12-24 hours.
  8. Once dry, display your finished heart in a cherished spot.

Notes

Store the crystal heart away from moisture, and dust gently with a soft cloth to maintain its sparkle.
