A calming and mindful project to create beautiful suncatchers that capture the essence of light and nature.

Ingredients

  • Bioplastic sheets
  • Natural pigments (plant-based dyes or food coloring)
  • Hot glue gun (with glue sticks)
  • Scissors
  • Shapes to trace (leaves, flowers, etc.)
  • Clear thread or fishing line (optional for hanging)
  • A safe working surface

Instructions

  1. Choose natural shapes to trace on the bioplastic sheet.
  2. Carefully cut out the traced shapes using scissors.
  3. Mix and select your natural pigments.
  4. Apply pigments onto the bioplastic shapes using a brush or your fingers.
  5. Once dry, use a hot glue gun to attach the shapes together.
  6. If desired, cut a length of clear thread or fishing line to hang your suncatchers.
  7. Find a sunny window to display your suncatchers and appreciate the light filtering through.

Notes

These suncatchers can be reused and repurposed to refresh their look. Gentle care is recommended to maintain vibrance.
